Start your day with the sights and sounds of nature!
Join Berks Nature and the birders of Baird Ornithological Society for a relaxed, refreshing morning of birdwatching, light refreshments, and bird-loving community.
Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair from us (limited), and let’s see who’s singing in the trees! We’ll kick things off with a short binocular lesson before heading out on a guided bird hike through the park—perfect for beginners and seasoned birders alike. After the hike, enjoy coffee and pastries during a casual mingle, followed by a few brief, engaging presentations on digital birding resources, cell phone photography tips, and birding around Berks
Doors open at 8:30 AM. We’ll kick things off with a mini binocular lesson at 8:45, then head out on the trail at 9:00 AM sharp to catch the birds before they tuck away for the day.
