JANUARY 9TH - Feathered Friends

Description

A brisk, winter hike in search of those brave birds that over-winter here in Berks County.

Location

The Nature Place, 575 St. Bernardine Street Reading, PA 19607

Date & Time

Saturday, January 9, 2027 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM

Not all birds migrate south for the winter! On this short winter hike, we'll look for those brave birds who decided to stick around for the winter season. After the hike, everyone will make their own pine cone bird feeder to bring home - a temporary but tasty treat to give those winter stragglers a little extra help up here in the chilly north. This walk is appropriate for all ages!

Please note, end times are approximate.

Registration closes January 7th.
