AUGUST 2ND - Adult Summer Camp: Wild Waters & Woodland Bows

We listened to you Berks County! Berks Nature is proud to offer our first Adult Summer Camp for a day! We will start the morning with Archery 101 to learn the basics and take your best shot at our target station in the park. We will explore Angelica Park by strolling through the trails to learn about wildlife and conservation. The afternoon will close with a unique snorkeling experience in Angelica Creek where you will explore the underwater world in a completely new way! While snorkeling you will learn how scientists use aquatic life to determine the health of streams. This immersive day in nature promises learning, FUN, and hands-on exploration! Campers must be 18+ and should bring bathing suits and water shoes. Wetsuits are provided for warmth but are not required. All bows have an easy pull back weight, 12-20lbs, and are designed for targets (not hunting). Light refreshments will be provided by Berks Nature throughout the day. Campers should pack a picnic lunch!
