The City Nature Challenge is an annual international event where communities collaborate and compete to view and document the nature all around them by using biodiversity recording platforms like iNaturalist to document nature in their neighborhoods. This spring, Dr. Bryan Wang, Biology Professor at Penn State Berks and Berks Natutre Ambassador, is leading an exciting City Nature Challenge Berks! Reading, and the rest of Berks County, will be joining the effort in 2025, and we hope YOU will join us too!
On Saturday, April 12th from 9 am to noon at The Nature Place will be a kick-off event. This interactive workshop is for those who wish to learn more, participate individually, or lead a group for the CNC observation weekend which runs from April 25th to the 28th.
