Drop your kids off at The Nature Place for a full day of exploring Angelica Creek Park, scientific experiments, and other hands-on activities perfect for the curious, adventure-seeker! You pack the lunch, and we'll take care of the rest! Best for children aged 6+. Please pack a lunch and prepare your child appropriately for the outdoors and weather.

Tap into nature tech! This month, the Nature Explorers will practice using the iNaturalist app in preparation for the 2026 City Nature Challenge! From buzzing bees to blooming wildflowers, we’ll document it all and help scientists around the world learn more about local biodiversity. Let’s explore, discover, and make nature count! This event is part of our City Nature Challenge series, helping you prepare to document wildlife during the global bioblitz happening April 24–27. Smart devices welcome!

Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Allison Mackley ([email protected]).
