In August, we'll hear from Berks Nature's new VP for Land & Conservation Andrew Fetterman and dive into the geology of Berks Nature's Preserves. Andrew will provide an overview of Pennsylvania’s geography, and together we'll discuss the geological differences between three nature preserves managed by Berks Nature.

Grab a bite and learn something new! Berks Nature's Lunch and Learns are an informal and interactive space to take a closer look at conservation topics that are exciting and relevant to Berks County's community of environmental stewards and enthsuiasts! In August, we'll hear from Berks Nature's new VP for Land & Conservation Andrew Fetterman and dive into the geology of Berks Nature's Preserves. Andrew will provide an overview of Pennsylvania’s geography, and together we'll discuss the geological differences between three nature preserves managed by Berks Nature: Angelica Park, Malickson Wildlife Sanctuary, and Neversink Mountain. Attendees will learn what makes these properties special and how to identify specific features when visiting these preserves.
 
Andrew holds an undergraduate degree in Geology from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Arts in Earth Science Degree from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. He has been a Professional Geologist in PA since 2002, and currently serves as Berks Nature’s VP for Land & Conservation.
