Create one of a kind botanical print cards using real plants! These hand-made cards are perfect for sending notes to the nature lover in your life. Led by Lisa Gauker from the Berks County Parks and Recreation department, participants will use to create their own botanical stationary.
Botanical prints can be used not only to create beautiful cards, but also to document the scientific aspects of plant materials. A quick discussion on basic plant biology will highlight some of the artistic forms that will be created on paper. Each participant can expect to take home several cards by the end of the class. This experience is perfect for adults or kids, ages 7+.
