Class is in session at The Nature Place! Berks Nature's Homeschool Programs are specially designed to provide your students with hands-on learning experiences to better understand our natural world and the science of our ecosystems. Engage your child's curiosity through experimentation and inquisition, all while under the thoughtful guidance of our skilled environmental educators.
Bundle up for Berks Nature's final Homeschool Class of the year as we explore the world of winter wildlife! Students will learn about the fascinating adaptations local wildlife use to stay warm and survive this season of cold and scarcity. In a show-and-touch activity, we invite students to feel for themselves real animal furs while discussing each animal's unique winter survival strategy. Weather permitting, we'll close out another exciting year of learning with a celebratory fire and s'more roasting!
This class is best for students ages 6-13.
