MAY 16TH - Rustic Park Community Clean Up

If you love your stream, keep it clean! 

 

We've had our fun at the Annual Children's Fishing Rodeo, celebrating Hay Creek and the fish that swim its currents, but now it's time to give Rustic Park a little extra TLC. Bring your whole family and join the members of the Hay Creek Watershed Association (HCWA) to clean up Rustic Park; we all have a role to play in keeping this beloved community space clean, beautiful, and healthy! 

 

When you're ready for a break, the members of HCWA will have activity tables set up for you and your little ones to meet some of the Hay Creek's smallest inhabitants and learn more about the health of our local watersheds.

 

Berks Nature and the HCWA will provide all the necessary supplies, all you need to do is bring your energy! We recommend wearing clothes suited for outdoor activity and trekking. 

 

We're proud to have this community effort registered as part of the larger Great American Cleanup with litter hauling support provided by Mountz Disposal Service.
