Grab a bite and learn something new! Berks Nature’s Lunch and Learns are an informal and interactive space to take a closer look at the science behind local conservation.
Featuring Dr. Eileen Beyer Curry, Licensed Clinical Psychologist at her practice, Courage to Change Psychological Assocs. and Instructor for the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Beyer Curry’s clinical and teaching work focuses on positively motivating and sustaining attitudinal and behavioral change, both of which are necessary to enhance individual environmental commitment and actions. Psychological barriers will be discussed along with specific, practical coaching interventions to move others toward believing their individual changes and efforts can make a difference in their immediate environment and overall climate change.
