The Nature Explorers make a splash in July! Explorers will slip on goggles, grab nets, and head into the creek for a full day of discovery and fun. Their quest: collect and identify macroinvertebrates - tiny, aquatic critters who can tell us a lot about the health of their watery home. Along the way, we will play water themed games, practice safe creek exploration, and take a closer look at how a healthy stream works. It's bound to be a day full of cool science and cool water! Explorers should come prepared to get wet and play outside most of the day.
Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Michael Griffith ([email protected]).
Please note, end times are approximate.
