What better way to celebrate World Wildlife Day, than by learning about the incredible biodiversity here in our own backyards! On this guided hike, we'll show you how to use the iNaturalist app to make observations, identify species, and contribute to global community science efforts. Not ready to dive into iNaturalist? No problem! You’re welcome to simply enjoy the hike or learn about other wildlife ID apps that can help you explore the natural world in your own way. All ages and experience levels are welcome—come walk, learn, and celebrate wildlife with us!

This program  is part of our City Nature Challenge series, helping you prepare for the global bioblitz happening April 24-27! During these programs, you'll learn how to document and photograph wild- and plantlife in a way that supports community science, and walk away with skills that will make your iNaturalist observations shine!
