Drop your kids off at The Nature Place for a full day of exploring Angelica Creek Park, scientific experiments, and other hands-on activities perfect for the curious, adventure-seeker! You pack the lunch, and we'll take care of the rest! Best for children aged 6+. Please pack a lunch and prepare your child appropriately for the outdoors and weather.

They crawl, fly, march, dig, and wiggle..and love them or hate them, our world needs bugs! On this creepy crawly adventure, Nature Explorers will search on land and in the water for insects and other macroinvertebrates, learning the valuable role of these misunderstood animals along the way. Armed with nets, magnifiers, and identification guides, we’ll become full-fledged bug biologists!

Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Allison Mackley ([email protected]).
