In November, the Nature Explorers will celebrate the colorful changing of the seasons! Explorers will learn how different plants prepare for winter and how seeds travel through the park in creative and surprising ways. Science and creativity collide as the Explorers use their observations of leaves, seed pods, and trees to pen their own poetry (or should we say, poet-TREE?). As a craft, we'll make seed bombs - a fun and simple way to help the spread of native seeds - which Explorers can bring home! It's bound to be a day of autumnal celebration!
Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Michael Griffith ([email protected]).
Please note, end times are approximate.
Registration closes November 5th
