Students will start by seeking inspiration outside, observing the shape, textures, and seasonal changes of trees. These observations will then be transformed into short nature poems, sketches, and leaf rubbings, which each student will have time to share. This lesson comes from Project Learning Tree and is designed to encourage creativity, awareness, and a calm appreciation of the natural world.
