In 2026, we address the mental health crisis impacting today’s youth. While the health and mood benefits of time in nature are welldocumented, children growing up in cities face disproportionate barriers to green spaces and these natural boons. We hope this discussion will illuminate new solutions and empower local youth leaders in the City of Reading to take their healing outdoors.
