2026 State of the Environment Breakfast

This year we are proud to announce a new initiative, Beyond Four Walls: Helping Kids Find Their Wild – Equipping youth leaders with the skills and confidence to inspire exploration, play, and connection outdoors. Today’s young people are spending less time outdoors than ever before. Yet research consistently shows that time in nature improves physical health, mental well-being, social skills, creativity, the list goes on. Our goal, and focus of our breakfast this year, is to ensure that the adults who work with youth have the confidence, skills, and resources to make outdoor experiences a regular part of their programs. By investing in local youth leaders, we create a multiplier effect: every trained leader can inspire dozens – if not hundreds – of children throughout their career. Together, we can help ensure that more young people in our community have the opportunity to experience the proven benefits of the nature regardless of their background, neighborhood, or access to green spaces.

Table Sponsor $1000.00 – help middle and high schoolers attend the breakfast by reserving your own table! - includes a reserved table for your company (8 breakfast tickets), company name in programs and on website. The rest of your sponsorship goes towards discounted tickets for City of Reading kids to attend the breakfast!
Silver Sponsor $500.00 – includes 4 breakfast tickets, company name in programs and on website
School Sponsor $250.00 – help a school attend! includes 1 breakfast ticket, company name in programs and on website
