Join us for a scout program focused on the power of citizen science! Together we will dive into the world of macroinvertebrates and learn how these tiny creatures help scientists assess water quality. Our Educator will guide the Scouts as we explore Angelica Creek, collect samples, and use the biological index to determine the health of the stream. While the badge isn’t included, the knowledge and experience you'll gain in the field will make you a true water steward and help towards other badges and patches. Be prepared to explore and get wet in the creek.
This progam can contributes to any number of scout badges. No badges are provided at this program.
