For our local brown and brook trout, fall is the spawing season - a time of great importance and sensitivity for these species and their progeny. During this lecture, we'll discuss the dynamic conditions of our local waterways and how native fish species prepare for this pivotal life event. From natural shifts in temperature, leaf litter, and water levels to the consequences of our own human actions when we choose to explore these water ecosystems, we'll learn all about stream health and fish biology during this season of change and consequence.
Registration closes September 23rd.
