At Berks Nature, you're never too grown up for Summer Camp! At our Wild Waters Adult Day Camp program, you can relive those childhood summer days...but with a mature twist.
The morning begins with creek snorkeling, no tropical beach needed! Don one of the provided wetsuits and dip into Angelica Creek. As you drift through the shallow currents, keep an eye out for fish, macroinvertebrates, and other wildlife that call this waterway home. It's a calm and refreshing experience to cool off from the summer sun and gain a new perspective on this rarely seen watery world. After lunch, nature photography will be our focus and all you need is your mobile phone! This cellphone oriented photography session will teach easy techniques for capturing crisp and beautiful photos of our natural world. Campers will hike along the creek and through the forest all while experimenting with light, angles, and scene composition. We'll wrap up the day with nature journaling, led by the talented staff of Nolde Forest. Campers will be given quiet time to sketch, write, and reflect amidst the sounds, smells, and sights of nature in a provided nature journal.
This Adult Day Camp has it all! Swimming, hiking, even craft time! We've got your perfect day of outdoor adventure and good vibes.
