Before you take your first cast, come learn how to fish with Berks Nature and Blue Marsh Lake! Whether you've never fished before or just want to learn more about this popular outdoor passtime, Berks Nature's state-certified fishing instructor will walk you through everything you need to start fishing on your own - from casting, to knot tying, to hooking bait, you'll even learn about Berks County's local fish species, where to find them, and how to catch them. This entire event is centered around learning and practice and there will be no actual fishing during this program! But there will be opportunities to put your new skills to the test later in August when Berks Nature returns to Blue Marsh Lake for a full day of free fishing fun!
