Drop your kids off at The Nature Place for a full day of exploring Angelica Creek Park, scientific experiments, and other hands-on activities perfect for the curious, adventure-seeker! Pack a lunch - we’ll provide the fun and adventure!
Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Allison Mackley ([email protected]).
September's drop-off program is all about our feathered friends! Learn all about native birds, why they might visit your backyard, what they eat, and what they need to survive. Our Educator will also talk about birds of prey, and we will get hands-on by dissecting owl pellets to uncover the hidden world of what owls eat. Throughout the day, our Nature Explorers will hike and explore the park in search of birds as we practice our identification skills. This program is the perfect blend of science, adventure, and hands-on discovery! Ages 6-13.
Please note, end times are approximate.
Registration closes on September 10th
