Skitter, creep, and crawl to our September Homeschool Class to learn all about insects! September's lesson will detail insect anatomy, diets, and survival strategies. Should the weather cooperate, we'll hit the trails in search for insects in their natural habitats but if the weather keeps us indoors, we'll read a buggy book and then practice identifying insect adaptations. Students will then put their new insights together to create their very own insect from modeling clay, a craft designed to combine the day's lessons with imagination and experimentation.

This class is best for students ages 6-13.
