This introductory treasure hunt is perfect for first time geocachers and families interested in learning more about geocaching!, students will learn about the metric system: the popular system of measurement used by scientists around the globe to measure weight, volume, and length.

Our Homeschool Programs are specially designed to provide your students with a hands-on learning experience to better understand our natural world and the science underlying our ecosystems. Engage your child's curiosity through experimentation and inquisition, all while under the thoughtful guidance of our skilled environmental educators.

Did you know that treasure hunting is a very real passtime for people across the globe? Geocaching is a global treasure hunt that challenges investigators from all over the world to search for "caches" - hidden stashes of objects. It is a fun and challenging activity for the whole family to get outside and explore. For one evening only, Berks Nature will host a geocache adventure for Angelica Creek Park! This introductory treasure hunt is perfect for first time geocachers and families interested in learning more about geocaching before taking on their first geocaching challenge! This class is best suited for ages 6+.
